Festival Evensong

2024 marks the centenary of the death of Charles Villiers Stanford, who was one of the reformers of English Church Music at the end of the 19th century.

This Evensong, which is open to all and free of charge, will be one of four events during the year marking this centenary. Do come and enjoy an hour of reflection and some of the glories of the English Church Music of that period. I will be conducting a volunteer choir, and Hannes Ebersohn will be the organist. 

Join us at 6pm on the 5th of English in the beautiful Herbert Baker building on Sherbourne Road in Parktown. There is no need to book.
